For many people, buying a yacht is a special and emotional occasion. We as professional yacht brokers will be pleased to guide you through the purchase. This with the intention of having you use your new yacht only with pleasure. In the standard purchase procedure two extra safety guidelines are used:

• Survey by a qualified surveyor of your own choice
• Financial and/or legal handling by Notary Alberda in Lemmer

Procedure (in brief)

1. Make an offer with one of the brokers. This can be under condition of several terms like, for example, the survey. The broker will be pleased to explain the procedure.
2. When an agreement is reached on the purchase price a purchase agreement will be drawn up (eventually under condition of the agreed terms).
3. After the deposit is received by the Notary (15% within 3 days) the survey can be performed within 14 days.
4. When the results from the survey are positive, the rest of the purchase sum can be transferred to the Notary.
5. After the Notary receives the total purchase sum the ownership is transferred.
