The fact that an increasing number of yachts in the Netherlands (and abroad) are registered and might or will be mortgaged, has been a reason for Het Wakend Oog to decide to have the office of Notary Alberda in Lemmer handle all purchase sums. Purchasers pay the purchase price directly into the escrow account of the Notary. After the Notary has carried out various procedures to ensure that the seller is indeed the owner and that the yacht is not mortgaged, he will transfer the money (after deducting the provision and eventual costs) to the seller's account. The buyer is of course free to use the Notary for extra services if necessary (see prices below).

It is a comforting thought that your financial interests are secure and being taken care of in the best possible way. No problems, only pleasure!

The prices of several nautical products are (including 19% VAT and the costs of the register, subject to change):

- Handling of the financial part of a non registered yacht, being: receiving purchase sum, forwarding the purchase sum to the seller and the brokers fee to the broker and including a check in the Dutch register
(usually the purchaser and seller will each pay 50% of the costs for the above mentioned handling of the financial part) 		€ 334
